1. Proof of current negative Coggins Test as required by MA State Law.
2. Rider ages as of January 1, 2008
Leadline 5 - 7 Walk-Trot/Jog 8 - 18 Beginner Canter/Lope 8 - 18
Junior 8 - 13 Senior 14 - 18 Adult 19 and over
3. Pre-entry fees are $6.00 per class. Post-entry fees $8.00 per class.
4. The Judges decision is final on all class results. In the case of a tie the Judge reserves the right to decide how the tie will be broken.
5. The Judge and Show Committee reserve the right to dismiss any horse or rider that is unruly from the fairgrounds.
6. ASTM/SEI approved helmets must be worn by all riders 19 and under.
7. All riders must wear hard-soled boots/shoes with a heel.
8. This horse show is being run under the rules of the Massachusetts 4-H Horse Show rulebook.
9. Refunds will not be given unless due to injury/illness of horse or rider.
10. There will be two stable calls before each class.
11. Show committee reserves the right to combine or cancel class or change class order as needed.
12. Stallions are not permitted at show.
13. Bats/whips or roweled spurs are not permitted in gymkhana classes.
14. Hackamores, tie-downs or martingales are not permitted in gymkhana classes.
15. Flash and drop nosebands are not permitted in flat classes.
16. Persons exhibiting/attending this show do so at their own risk. The show committee, 4-H Pepperell Trailblazers, Middlesex County 4-H Fair, Inc., the judges and all their designees shall assume no liability for any damage or accidents to animals, property, or persons exhibiting or attending this event. Participants are responsible for their own property.
17. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the fairgrounds.
18. All horses that tend to kick must wear red ribbon in their tail.
19. Thank you for your effort in keeping the fairgrounds free of trash!
